Selection Process & Examination Center Details Engineering Officer Gr. 1 : Selection will be based purely on valid GATE Score (2024 / 2025 / 2026). Engineering Assistant & Scientific Assistant : Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by Job-Specific Practical Skill Test. Technician Gr. 1 & MTS Gr. 1 : Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by Trade Test / Trade Proficiency Test. Technical Attendant Gr. 1 & Assistant Gr. II : Selection will be based strictly on performance in Computer Based Test (CBT). Probation Period : Initial probation for all posts will be for a period of 2 years. Exam Cities : CBT exam will tentatively be conducted in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Bhopal, Delhi, and Kolkata.
