CSIR NGRI Technician Selection Process 2026 Stage 1: Screening of Online Applications. Stage 2: Trade Test (Qualifying Nature). Stage 3: Written Examination (Paper-I, Paper-II, Paper-III). Stage 4: Document Verification. Stage 5: Medical Examination.
CSIR NGRI Technician Exam Pattern & Scheme 2026 Total Questions: 150 Objective Type Questions | Total Duration: 2 Hours 30 Minutes. Paper-I (1 Hour): Mental Ability Test (50 Questions, 100 Marks) – No Negative Marking. Paper-II (30 Minutes): General Awareness (25 Qs, 75 Marks) & English Language (25 Qs, 75 Marks) – 1 Mark Deduction per Wrong Answer. Paper-III (1 Hour): Concerned Subject / Trade (50 Questions, 150 Marks) – 1 Mark Deduction per Wrong Answer. Final Merit List will be prepared strictly based on aggregate marks obtained in Paper-II and Paper-III.
